What’s been happening:

Shortly after graduation, I was drafted into the U.S. Army for two years. Then, I started working as an engineer for Ingersoll Rand Corp. in Painted Post, NY and was married to Grace Bowers. Gracie and I have five children and after the fifth child Gracie became a R.N. and worked in the medical field for over twenty years. I enjoyed my work and learned much from Ingersoll Rand and with their support completed a masters degree in Engineering Science from the University of Buffalo through the Finger Lakes graduate program. After working 13 years at Ingersoll Rand Grover Fraser and I started our own company manufacturing engine starters. After four years, I went back to work for Ingersoll Rand for an additional eight years. Fraser-Webb Corp. was sold to the Hilliard Corporation in Elmira, NY I became development engineering manager for the Ingersoll Rand air compressor division at Painted Post, NY. In 1983 I joined the Hilliard Corporation as manager of engineering and became President and COO in 1998. The Lord has blessed us with good health so I am still working at age 74, however, Gracie and I are ready to soon enjoy retirement at our home on Sugar Branch Lake. We now have fifteen grandchildren.
